THE BRIEF
Shalev Therapy provides a compassionate, person-centered approach to helping individuals manage addiction, with a unique focus on the Jewish community. The founder wanted a brand that conveyed warmth and empathy while remaining professional and trustworthy. The visual identity needed to be calming and approachable, reflecting Shalev’s mission of empowering clients to live healthy, meaningful lives despite the challenges of addiction.
THE SOLUTION
Rachel developed the brand strategy, which laid the foundation for the visual identity. We designed a brand identity that strikes a delicate balance between professionalism and warmth. The logo centers on a geometric lotus, symbolizing growth and renewal, while avoiding any overly feminine or yoga-like associations. Behind the lotus, a sunrise emerges, representing the hope and promise of a new day—a powerful metaphor for recovery. The entire design is framed within a triangle, symbolizing strength and stability, which reinforces the brand’s commitment to supporting clients through their journey.
Using warm tones of blues and greens, the brand feels calming and inviting while maintaining a trustworthy, professional appearance. The overall design aligns with Shalev Therapy’s identity pillars of being non-judgmental, compassionate, and empowering, with a tone that is friendly, approachable, and deeply empathetic.
